Many may argue that there's never a way that something like the terrorist attack in NYC can be stopped. However, that's a defeatist attitude and one that the “Left” so often displays every time they respond in their apologetic manner in the face of such disdainful behavior as that of the terrorist Sayfullo Saipov.

 

Let's start off with an immigration law that most of the people in this country didn't even know existed until after this terror attack. By now, we all know that it's called “The Diversity Visa Program”. We know now that this was a program that was created by Chuck Schumer who has fought tooth and nail with the president since day one. This program is one that allows 50,000 immigrants to enter our country each year without much vetting if any vetting at all. Along with that, this program then allows people related to a person who got into this country through this program to join them without questions. This is called migration immigration.

 

With Saipov, this is the program that allowed him into our country back in 2010. Because of this program, over the past seven years, 23 members of his family and friends were also allowed into this country and no one knows where they are and what their beliefs might be. Does that mean, 23 more possible terrorists? Of course, it does. So, now we know what made it so easy for this terrorist to get into this country.

 

Soon after 9/11, NYC created what they called a counter-terrorist unit in order to try and stop any future attacks on the city as well as passing on information to the FBI and Homeland Security that could help save other cities in the US from being attacked by terrorists. This program was one that would keep track of possible terrorist suspects in certain neighborhoods that tended to have clear radical ideas. This program was quite successful in fact, it has been credited for stopping several different plans to attack NYC that even included several arrests of would-be terrorists. This unit was allowed to monitor suspects, where they lived, mosques they went to along with their Internet activities.

 

Now, fast forward to the election of DeBlasio as mayor of NYC. Suddenly, he believes that this counter-terrorist unit as being unlawful and unconstitutional and decided to shut down the unit because he believed that it was detrimental in harming the relationship between the police and certain people who lived in NYC. This fool who calls himself a mayor ignored the fact that one of the key mosques that had been on this units radar was the one that Saipov started attended two months ago. This is one of the key mosques that was found to preach a radical view of Islam, one that taught hatred for “infidels” and for this country. One retired agent who was the head of this unit said that during the time he monitored this one mosque alone, he believes there were at least 20 of its members who became radicalized and joined Isis and other terrorist groups. He also stated that there were probably nearly 1,000 radicalized people from mosques all over the state of New York. A 1,000 people radicalized? Are you kidding me? As you can all see, it only takes one, ONE, to kill and severely injure people!!!

 

Once the unit was dismantled, it didn't take Saipov long to move from Florida to New Jersey and join the mosque in question. By the way, this is the same mosque that the 9/11 terrorists attended before they killed over 3,000 people!

 

If DeBlasio had not been more concerned with political correctness than the actual safety of true Americans that live in this city, this unit may have been able to catch this guy on their radar screens. Fact is that they found after the attack, that this guy left a huge trail of breadcrumbs to his activities online with Isis. On one of the several phones he owned, they found 90 different Isis videos that Saipov used as his guideline to become a Jihadist. Some of the videos were training films on just how to destroy as many people possible through vehicle attacks and knife attacks. No guns required. By the way, mainstream media probably didn't mention that investigators found a bag full of knives which seemed he couldn't get to after he crashed into the school bus. This indicates that he had planned to eventually use those knives to try and kill people through up-close attacks.

 

While the “Left” points fingers at the President, truth be known, part of the blame and the blood of these innocent people need to be thrown back at people like Schumer, DeBlasio, Gov. Cumo, and many others, for their insistence on allowing anyone and everyone into this country without questions! They need to take a closer look at themselves in the mirror and ask themselves who they really care about. Those that were born here or honestly earned a right to be here, or those who haven't earned it. It is NOT a right to come to this country, it's a privilege! However, the “Left” has cheapened this privilege by destroying the immigration system with a lottery system that allows ANYONE into this country, no matter where they are from or what their beliefs are.

 

After looking at all the facts, it does seem that had there not been this lottery immigration bill in law and the dismantling of the NYC counter-terrorist unit, this terrorist attack may very well have been stopped!
