Yes, our country was founded on freedom of speech. It's something that we've all grown up to believe that as Americans, we are entitled to this freedom.
However, that freedom we so cherish is being thread by thread taken away from us, and many don't even realize that this is happening.
So, how's it happening? All you have to do is look around you. College campuses are refusing to let certain people talk on campus, people are being abused verbally and physically on the streets in major cities across this country. People are being demoralized and abused on social media and the list keeps going on and on.

These unstable individuals, such as the gunman who attacked the Republicans baseball practice, hears these threatening words and it makes them feel vindicated in how they feel and encourages them to act upon their violent feelings.

So who's doing these attacks? Members of the left, that's who. People who use to be considered liberals who cared about the people and this country. I once considered myself a liberal, but can no longer consider that to be true. They have become so unrecognizable that if JFK were alive today, he'd probably not be part of the Democratic Party!

It has to stop or this country will be destroyed and democracy will no longer exist.
However, there are those who would argue with me that there's plenty of free speech. They'd be correct in saying that, but, it's only free speech for the far left. As long as you think like them, and say what they want to hear, so that there's no debate, then you are free to speak whenever and wherever you wish. But, if you don't agree with them, and you say things they don't want to hear, you're shut down and often times violently!
That my friends is NOT freedom of speech.
If you have a conservative or even moderate point of view, you are not allowed to voice those opinions. But on the flip side, the left can say ANYTHING, and I mean ANYTHING. They can threaten, they can try to verbally destroy a person, lie about them, you name it, they will do and all in the name of freedom of speech. Or freedom of expression.
Our Founding Fathers never intended for freedom of speech to be used in the manner in which we are witnessing it in today's society. Freedom of speech has its limitations. It is meant to allow us to freely speak and debate as long as it's rational speech. Not the vile, hateful, and speech that incites, like we hear coming from politicians, celebrities, mainstream media, and others. Their definition of freedom of speech is dangerous and it reaches everyone and that means even those who are unstable.
